We work with human rights groups and global networks to advance policies and restore the rights of Afghan women. Through strategic advocacy, DEFAW brings attention to critical issues such as gender apartheid and human rights violations, aiming to shift international policies that affect Afghan women’s freedoms. We advocate for policy reforms that break barriers to education, employment, and social participation. Our efforts include building coalitions with global organizations and hosting panel discussions to amplify the voices of Afghan women and demand global accountability. By engaging with policymakers, we push for long-term solutions that secure the rights and protections Afghan women deserve.
