DEFAW supports Afghan women through direct action in three core areas:

• Advocacy– We work with human rights groups and global networks to advance policies and restore the rights of Afghan women.
• Empowerment– We provide Afghan women with the resources, education, and opportunities to stand on their own and rebuild their lives.
• Awareness–We raise global awareness about Afghan women’s struggles, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights remain a global priority.
