Recognize Gender Apartheid
in Afghanistan
To: The United Nations, Governments, and International Institutions
Women and girls in Afghanistan are being deliberately erased from public life.
They are banned from education, pushed out of work, and silenced across society. Their rights are being taken away through a system built on discrimination and exclusion based solely on gender.
This is Gender Apartheid.
The world has recognized apartheid before. It must not remain silent now. Every day without recognition allows this injustice to continue.
We call on the United Nations, governments, and international institutions to recognize Gender Apartheid in Afghanistan as a crime against humanity, to pursue accountability, and to stand with women and girls in Afghanistan through real and sustained action.
Add your name. Take a stand. Demand recognition.
Frontline defenders of 20+ MILLION women and girls in Afghanistan deprived of their RIGHT to live as human beings.
