I am deeply honored for the opportunity to join an extraordinary group of women who share a common goal of fulfilling our responsibility towards the women and girls of Afghanistan; to serve their needs and to defend their rights. DEFAW does not represent a single individual or a limited group of women whose names and images you might see on this platform. DEFAW aims to become a permanent and reliable hub for the international community to connect with for any initiatives related to the freedom, education, empowerment, and progress of women and girls in Afghanistan. One of our main priorities is to be a steadfast platform that amplifies the voices of women who are being silenced and suppressed within Afghanistan. Let’s stand united in this transformative journey, creating a world where every Afghan woman is unburdened by limitations and empowered to shape her own destiny.
